How I learned to organize events, and grow a community.
No special sauce required.
2) Hard work, Hustle, Connect with people who share your goals and ASK for help.
If you don't ask.
You won't get.
"Give to get". Show them that you've done something before you ask.
3) Organize your first event.
The first time is always challenging.
Then Celebrate 😉
Lessons learned to be applied to the next event.
Be brutal about selecting your organizing team.
Be familiar with everyone's strengths and weaknesses.
The 2nd event should be better than the first.
All else remaining equal.
Prioritize your goals.
You cannot do everything.
Or, please everybody.
5) After the 3rd event.
Ask yourself - are you meeting your goals? personal goals, professional goals, community goals.
If not, hmmm.
