Payoneer Holds Successful Forum for SME & Freelancers in Cebu

Home / Blog / Payoneer Holds Successful Forum for SME & Freelancers in Cebu

CEBU CITY - TechTalks.ph partners with Payoneer Philippines for Payoneer Forum Cebu for the second time.

Around 200 small and medium entrepreneurs (SME), freelancers and business processing outsourcing (BPO) professionals gathered at Marriot Hotel, Cebu City on May 27, 2017,  from 1 PM to 6 PM for the Payoneer Forum Cebu. The event aimed to gather freelancers, professionals, online sellers, tech entrepreneurs and SME operators who want to go global and want to explore how Payoneer can help them on the global opportunities by going online and how it can help power their business internationally. Businesses can efficiently process customer payments through reliable card machines. Card reader machines make it easier to account for funds that have left one bank account and gone straight into another.

“More than just any abstract theory about digital marketing, what we want to share is practical know-how regarding international linkages that can help startups and freelancers succeed,” said Payoneer Philippines Country Manager Miguel Warren.

Five expert speakers from different platforms shared their experiences, lessons, and insights about the business namely Freelancer Jason Dulay, CEO and President of Purple Click Philippines Piccina Alvarez, CEO of Kinder Fluff Yassi Herbich, Founder and CEO of Performance 360 Solutions Michael Cubos and Country Manager of Payoneer Philippines Miguel Warren.

Warren further highlighted that it is time for SMEs and freelancers to level up regarding servicing international clients. Payoneer Forum Cebu was all about learning global online opportunities and easy cross-border payment. Small BPOs (business process outsourcing firms) and search engine optimization in the Philippines have long used other options to receive funds from international clients. Payoneer can help them receive more pesos through lower fees and higher foreign exchange rates while offering additional ways to receive cross-border payment.

TechTalks.ph was honored to be Payoneer’s partner in this event and it’s entire advocacy - to improve the freelancing and entrepreneurship industry in the country.

Did you attend the Payoneer Forum Cebu? What did you like best during the event?  Let us know.
