DICT STARTUP BASIQS is a startup workshop in collaboration with QBO Philippines. The workshop aims to educate the people around the country on how to start a startup.
QBO defines a startup as a project with the potential to be highly scalable working to solve a problem where the solution is not obvious.
Facebook, Grab, Skype, Viber, Lazada, Snap (Snapchat) are examples of startups that have become huge companies. Some startups in the Philippines include Chikka, Ayannah, Kalibrr, Qwikwire, Coins.ph, honest bee and others.
